Campground Details - COLES CREEK STATE PARK, NY

Description

Coles Creek State Park has wooded and open campsites near a swimming beach on Lake St. Lawrence. The lake is ideal for boating and fishing, and a marina on the mouth of Coles Creek lies just north of the park entrance. The park also has a playground, playing fields, and a large pavilion.

Geography:

Coles Creek State Park is located on the St. Lawrence River, on the west bank of Coles Creek, in St. Lawrence County.

Activities include boating, fishing, hunting, picnicking, and camping.

Park facilities include a beach, a marina, boat launch sites, boat rentals, dockage, campsites, dumping stations, showers, picnic tables, pavilions, food concessions, and a playground.

Visitors will enjoy numerous nearby outdoor attraction: Robert Moses State Park - Thousand Islands, Jacques Cartier State Park, Higley Flow State Park, Kring Point State Park, and St. Lawrence State Park Golf Course.

Each year the campground makes every effort to provide safe swimming opportunities by testing the water and by keeping the swimming areas staffed with lifeguards. Please be aware that if the safety of our swimmers is compromised, due to lack of lifeguard coverage or water quality issues, swimming will be prohibited and therefore cannot be a guaranteed activity. We apologize for this inconvenience as it may occur with little advance notice.

To insure fairness for all NY customers, any reservation with departure dates outside the 9-month Maximum Window can not be changed or cancelled until 18 days after the reservation was made.

Only 2 pets per site are permitted. Current rabies certificate required. Pets must be on a leash no longer than 6ft at all times.Loop B is pet free.
Fires are allowed and must be contained in fire rings.
Recycling is mandatory. Please clean and separate plastics, papers and so forth.
No dumping gray water on the ground.
There is no swimming from any campsite.
Looking to reserve for just 1-night? If you make your reservation within 3 days of your arrival you can book a 1-night stay online or through the Call Center. This applies only to campsites.
Peak season: A person may be the primary site occupant for 14 total days of camping within a 16 day period. S/he must leave the park for 48 hours once they have stayed the maximum number of days allowed before beginning a new reservation.
There is to be no back to back reservations over the maximum stay.
