Description

Eel Weir State Park is a WALK-IN ONLY facility all season. No advance reservations are taken. The park is located on the Oswegatchie River, two miles from Black Lake. The park fronts the river, which is navigable upstream to the lake. Both waterways are known for excellent bass fishing and are ideal for canoes or rowboats. As it is small and secluded, the park is a perfect place to get away from it all.

Eel Weir State Park is located south of Ogdensburg.

Recreation:

Visitors love to go boating, fishing, and to camp and picnic here.

Facilities:

The park has boat launch sites, a picnic area, and numerous campsites. All campsites are walk-in only. No advance reservations are taken.

Outdoor fun can be found nearby, at Kring Point State Park, Coles Creek State Park, Higley Flow State Park, Jacques Cartier State Park, and St. Lawrence State Park Golf Course.
