Alerts and Important Information
2014 Park Improvements! We have recently completed an electrical and water upgrade throughout the Highbanks Camping Area at Letchworth State Park. This upgrade in service will reduce previous electrical and water problems. As this project was conducted during the winter and completed Late April 2014, you may encounter muddy sites and areas of disturbance. Your cooperation and understanding of less than normal conditions is appreciated.

The South Pool is closed. The Harvey Pool is available from late June to Labor Day and is a 20 min drive through the park from the South end.

Each year the campground makes every effort to provide safe swimming opportunities by testing the water and by keeping the swimming areas staffed with lifeguards. Please be aware that if the safety of our swimmers is compromised, due to lack of lifeguard coverage or water quality issues, swimming will be prohibited and therefore cannot be a guaranteed activity. We apologize for this inconvenience as it may occur with little advance notice.
