Q: Can I make duplicate Availability Notifications?
A: Yes. However, there is no advantage to making two or more Availability Notifications from the exact same search. Making Notifications that match alternatives, like alternate dates or alternate Site # or Loop, would be a better use of your limit of 5 active Notifications.
Q: Can I make more than one Availability Notification?
A: Yes. You can have up to 5 active Availability Notifications at once (you may delete those you don’t want to make room for others).
Q: If I receive a Notification, but it’s no longer available by the time I follow up, will I be notified if new availability is found?
A: Yes. Your Availability Notifications keep checking for availability nightly until you remove them or the arrival date they are searching for has past.
Q: There's a specific site I want. Can I be notified only if that site becomes available?
A: Yes. Just do a search that includes the Site # and your dates. If it’s not available now, you will be able to create an Availability Notification that matches the Site # you’re hoping for.
Q: When will I be notified?
A: Nightly. We re-run the exact same search that you made before you created your Availability Notification (place, dates and site criteria). If that search finds something available, an email notification is sent to you.
Q: Will I be notified if there’s a good alternative to my specific arrival date and length of stay?
A: No. The nightly search will use the exact same search that leads to your Availability Notification.
Q: Will I be notified when nothing can be found?
A: No. Notifications are emailed only when matching availability is found.
Q: How do I find out when a facility is open for the season?
A: Click "Season Dates" on the right side of the Campground Details page. You can find the open dates if they are listed.
Q: What time can I make a reservation?
A: Reservations can be made on the Web at any time. All new inventory for the maximum booking window becomes available at the call center that is open. Please refer to call center hours.
Q: Where can I find the reservation/booking window for my state?
A: Select the facility where you will be camping; on the right side of the screen, click "Booking Window".
