SCHODACK ISLAND STATE PARK, NY

• This campground allows 1-night stays for campsites only.
• Children under 10 years of age shall at all times be under the supervision of a parent, guardian, or responsible custodian. (18 years or older)
• Glass containers, alcoholic beverages, and pets are not allowed on the beach.
• All boats and canoes are required to have lifejackets (PFD's) for each person. Please do not swim from any boats.
• You must be 21 years of age to possess or consume alcoholic beverages. An alcohol permit is required for large amounts of alcohol. Please obtain a permit at the park office.
• This is a Carry in-Carry out NYS park. Please take home your picnicking litter and dispose of it properly.
• Camping - the park has 66 campsites available.
• Sites 1-43 offer 50 amp electric. This includes a (220 volt) 50 amp and 30 amp outlet, and a (110 volt) 20 amp Ground Fault outlet.
• Sites 44-67 are non-electric campsites.
• None of the campsites offer a water-view.
• Small boats, canoes, and kayaks have a special launch area.
• Large Boats - There is no marina at the campground, however, they do have a small dry boat slip area. For rental information, please contact the park.
• Picnicking - Family picnic areas consist of grills, picnic tables, and comfort stations; no reservations required. There are 3 group picnic shelters available; to reserve please call the park office.

ATTENTION PET OWNERS:

• Current proof of rabies inoculation is required at check-in (metal tags will not be accepted).
• At any time during your stay, pet owners may be required to provide proof of rabies inoculation upon request. Be sure to have this information available to present to park staff.
• Where pets are permitted, there is a maximum limit of 2 pets per site.
• Pets must be on a leash no longer than 6ft and under control at all times.
• Do not leave pets unattended and always clean up after them.
• Pet owners/permit holders are liable for any damage, personal injury, or nuisance caused by the pet.

PRE-REGISTRATION: Have an existing reservation? Don't forget to PRE-REGISTER!! Two days prior to arrival you can sign into Reserve America and pre-register. IT SAVES TIME.

LENGTH OF STAY: A camping party and their equipment may occupy a site for a maximum of 14 continuous nights. After which, the camping party and equipment must leave the site and facility for 48 hours before registering again for another site.

Please Note: To ensure fairness for all NY customers, any reservation with departure dates outside the 9-month Maximum Window cannot be changed or cancelled until 18 days after the reservation was made.
