DescriptionTake the Virtual Tour! - CAYUGA LAKE STATE PARK
Cayuga Lake State Park's terrain is flat at lakeshore, where the beach and sun lawns are, then slopes gently uphill to campsites and cabins. The scenic highlight of the park is its expansive view of Cayuga Lake. In the shallow water near the park, largemouth bass, bullheads and carp thrive. In deeper water, anglers can catch northern pike, small mouth bass, lake trout, landlocked salmon and many other varieties of fish.
Cayuga Lake State Park is located on the west shore of Cayuga Lake's north end, east of Seneca Falls.
Park visitors enjoy boating, fishing, winter ice fishing, and cross-country skiing.
The park has a beach, boat launch sites, handicapped-accessible cabins and campsites, a dumping station, recycling stations, picnic tables and pavilions, a playground and playing fields, and showers. The vacation rental cottage, located off Lower Lake Road on the lake, is shaded by mature trees and offers a fully enclosed porch with a lake view. The park provides lake rights. Spacious grounds with picnic tables and a campfire ring adorn the property, and a lakefront dock is available.
Sampson State Park, Taughannock Falls State Park, Fair Haven Beach State Park, Fillmore Glen State Park, and Watkins Glen State Park are all nearby.
