DescriptionTake the Virtual Tour! - DELTA LAKE STATE PARK
Delta Lake State Park, open year-round for rest and relaxation, is located on a peninsula extending into Delta Reservoir. The terrain is wooded and generally flat. Visitors can enjoy the day in one of many picnic areas or spend time exploring the park's miles of hiking and nature trails. A boat launch, plus shoreline fishing for trout, pike, bass, bullhead and perch, make the park popular with anglers. A sandy beach with swimming in the summer and cross-country ski trails in the winter make this park a year-round outdoor destination.
Delta Lake State Park is located on a peninsula extending from the southeast shore of Delta Lake, in Oneida County.
Activities in the park include boating, biking, fishing, hiking, camping, and picnicking in the summer, and ice fishing, snowmobiling, and cross-country skiing in the winter.
The park has a beach with lifeguards (open Memorial Day-Labor Day), boat launch sites, campsites, dumping station and showers, a nature trail, picnic tables and pavilions, and a playground, almost all of which are accessible to disabled visitors. The campsites, ideal for families, have quiet hours at night, and each site has a six-foot table and a fire ring.
Nearby are Old Erie Canal State Historic Park, Verona Beach State Park, Steuben Memorial State Historic Site, and Oriskany Battlefield State Historic Site.

Alerts and Important Information**Park Improvements**The campground will be under construction during the 2015 camping season. This major project involves much needed utility upgrades. We appreciate your patience during this time. If you have any questions please contact the park at (315) 337-4670.
Each year the campground makes every effort to provide safe swimming opportunities by testing the water and by keeping the swimming areas staffed with lifeguards. Please be aware that if the safety of our swimmers is compromised, due to lack of lifeguard coverage or water quality issues, swimming will be prohibited and therefore cannot be a guaranteed activity. We apologize for this inconvenience as it may occur with little advance notice.
