Take the Virtual Tour! - KRING POINT STATE PARK

Kring Point State Park is a narrow peninsula whose south shore faces Goose Bay and north shore faces the St. Lawrence River. Standing anywhere in the park, visitors see water and many of the 1700 islands for which the region is named. Half of the park's 100 campsites are on the waterfront, and virtually every cabin and campsite has a river or bay view. The park has docks on the river and the bay and a sandy beach on the St. Lawrence. Fishing, boating, swimming, and picnicking are major activities. During the winter, visitors cross-country ski.

Kring Point State Park is located on a peninsula east of Alexandria Bay, between Goose Bay and the St. Lawrence River.

The park offers opportunities for boating, fishing, hunting, picnicking, and camping.

The park features boat launch sites and dockage. Picnic areas with tables, pavilions, and a playground are available, as are campsites with showers and dumping stations. Most of the park is accessible to disabled visitors.

Nearby Attractions:

Grass Point State Park, Mary Island State Park, Keewaydin State Park, Wellesley Island State Park, and Jacques Cartier State Park are nearby.

Alerts and Important Information
Each year the campground makes every effort to provide safe swimming opportunities by testing the water and by keeping the swimming areas staffed with lifeguards. Please be aware that if the safety of our swimmers is compromised, due to lack of lifeguard coverage or water quality issues, swimming will be prohibited and therefore cannot be a guaranteed activity. We apologize for this inconvenience as it may occur with little advance notice.
